A Really Cool Way To Have A Lot Of Storage Without Memory Cards...

A 32GB USB Pendrive should work with no additional power source needed.

    I Cant Decide!

Not to mention the Windows builds of N64, CPS3, Zsnes, Mame and classic games like Command & Conquer Tiberium Sun, Red Alert, Halo, Half-Life and many other great PC games.

Do You Backup Your Sd Cards?

Under Windows XP I use Drive Snapshot which can backup about 1GB per minute to a compressed image. 30 days fully functional free trial too. http://www.drivesnapshot.de/en/index.htm

Wait The Initial Release Is Only 3000 Units

I am interested in a Pandora but when it comes down to it, I have a UMPC that has a 1.1 GHZ CPU, 512MB RAM, clamshell design, rugged and I can play full speed PS1, full speed N64, Snes, GBA, GB, CPS1/2/3, Scumm VM, Mame and many more. I can also play PC games such as GTA San Andreas, Command &...

    Cps3?

I play CPS3 full speed on my UMPC but that has a 1.1 GHZ CPU and 512 MB RAM. Not sure how well it would work on a 600 MHZ CPU but I guess the 3D GPU could be used to take a lot of the load.

    Playstation Emulation

For the PS1 compression, would it be possible to use something like the .CDZ. Compression that PSX 1.3 for Windows uses? With this, some of my PS1 games are compressed from 700MB to 300MB or less with no decompression times when I run the game.

    I've Just Ordered My F200 From Gp2x.co.uk

I was just about to order one of these until I noticed the Dpad. This is one of the most basic and important parts of a portable console and yet they keep on coming up with ridiculious joystick / Dpad designs that aren't even fit for the purpose. Really, I wonder what is wrong with the people...

Back From The Front: Gp2x Vs Psp

I think there is also a Psp plugin that allows you to switch of the Psp immediately as well as reboot using key combinations.

Back From The Front: Gp2x Vs Psp

I have done exactly the same Dpad mod on both of my Psp's a very long time ago, the mod is very easy to do and makes a huge difference. After this mod you will find doing Dragon punches and Fireballs on Streetfighter II easy for example. You find that you dont need to press the pad as much to...

Blasphemy! New Favourite Handheld = Psp?

One other factor you should consider is the manufacture quality of the Psp screen, I noticed that the Japanese Psps had better quality screens than the UK region ones. Apparently the Japanese region Psps are manufactured with a higher quality 'Sharp' model screen but the other regions have an...

Blasphemy! New Favourite Handheld = Psp?

Snes on the Psp not that good? It is great and apart from great speed, it has many features for example: Save states allowing you to delete, save, import and export to Snes9x state. Autosave timer. The option to completely redefine your controls. You can switch from Video modes of Zoom 4/3...

Blasphemy! New Favourite Handheld = Psp?

I have a Psp, a DS and a GP2X. The GP2x has been collecting dust while I have been using the Psp every day and the DS every now and then. The Psp has a completely crap Dpad as you know but after this mod, it is fine. Psp Dpad fix I have to say that the Joystick on the GP2x is one of the worst...

    Psx4gp2x Beta Testers Thread

I don't worry about battery life on my Psp, I have an internal extended battery that is 2600Mah which gives approximately 7 hours standard usage although I have never really counted the hours. It only cost $20 and is the same size as the normal Psp internal battery. I recommend it to everyone.
