Here is the game "The Last Mission" remake by Dmitry Smagin.
a nice remake of a old 8 bit game available for Spectrum-CPC-MSX-IBMPC made by OperaSoft in 1987.
I have only changed to run the game in 1280*720 and some buttons. The game on Pyra look a bit pixellated as it's native resolution...
I'm not sure here, maybe for programs that need to be installed on the system, for Halloween 3D for example i simply compiled with make without changing anything on mount directory, then i made a tar.gz file of all the datas and then extracted during first run of the dbp.
Maybe is not the right...
Someone asked for a recipe/guide on how to make a *.dbp package for the Pyra.
The infos that i share here are mostly taken from other people that have published many Pyra dbp's before me, so the gratitude should be sent to this great guys.
Also i followed the guide available on Pyra Wiki...
Thanks i'm glad that you tested and like :)
Well i'm not the best person to show this...but i could try.
Well my desktop file is
But it didn't work good...it create two entry in "games" and another in "other"...
When i changed to Game;ActionGame;
it correctly show only one voice on the menu...
this is from my script that exec the game:
if [ ! -d "system" ];then
tar xf system.tar.gz
so i created a tar.gz archive and then extracted to appdata/halloween3d on the sdcard.
This infos i have copyed from other dbp's by ptitSeb.
Finally i have done a release for Pyra look here https://pyra-handheld.com/boards/threads/halloween-3d-fps.99635/
Yes the game have the code to create the directory if its not existent...but on Linux we need to have writing permission for it so it didn't work...better to create before that...
Finally i had done and published my first *.dbp package for the Pyra...look here at repo to download
It's the game Halloween 3D from Jadeware https://jadegame.com/games/halloween/ that recently was open sourced by the author (thanks @Brizzly27 ).
The game engine was coded for Windows and...
Have found why screenshot where not saved (at least on Linux). The game can't save it if the directory are not existent.
If you create a new directory under "distrib/system" called "screenshots" they are saved.
