here's some pics with nametag full disclosure: i charged it to full on 2025-10-27 and today it's not starting. either it drains a full charge in standby over the course of 2 months or the battery health isn't that great anymore (although the battery health tool reports that it is)

    GP32 Revival

After finally getting an smc-usb thingy, I can say that the replacement ebay smc does indeed work! And it looks like windups doesn't save it's settings if it can't find the GPMM folder and in general everything is wonky on a formatted SMC without GPMM folder -_- Which is just weird behavior of...

    GP32 Revival

Highres pictures of the PCB would be helpful. There might be some variation in the mystery ICs, some having labels or something . I already decided to take apart the GP32 with corrupted flash chip (which is now also missing it's screen since i used that to repair another GP32). My plan is to...

    Nintendo Switch 2

It's going to be ages for the switch 2 to be jailbroken. Surely nintendo learned their lessons, right? The switch only has homebrew because of exploitable cpu flaws

MiSTer Project - Open Source Multi-Emulator on FPGA

To weight in on the issue, systems reimplemented on FPGAs are very much emulators. The difference to software emulators is that FPGA-based emulators are hardware based. Which makes them harder to implement, but makes cycle accurate emulation economical. For example, you need a pretty beefy PC...

    WTB: SMC 128mb for GP32

I actually have an XD-to-SMC converter and a 128MB XD card, but that card is also broken :D IIRC I bought the adapter from ebay or something. It's totally terrible to search for them because you get lots of results for sd cards and crap. Btw, the 128MB limit seems to be hard-coded into the SMFS...

    WTB: GP32

Hint: Building a JTAG cable seems like the cheaper option than investing in a programmer.

    GP32 Revival

Hello party people, it is 2025 and I am trying to dust off my GP32s. I'll try to somewhat document my endeavors here. Since a lot of sites are down, it's kinda hard to cobble together all this information, but the archive helps a lot. SMC Unfortunately, a lot of SMCs are just dead these days...
