    Love2D - A Lua Based Game Engine

Personally, I'd love to see a port of LoV8. Basically it's the exact same API, except you program it Javascript. It's pretty slick, and speedy too.

    Rpg Maker Emulation

Wow! If this makes it to the Pandora, I'll definitely be releasing a game or two. :) My free time has somewhat diminished as of late, but with RPG Maker support it'd make things super easy. Out of curiosity though; is there any particular reason you chose to go with RM2K instead XP or VX? Was...

    Pandora Pandora Rpg Maker

ika is great. I would also recommend it. It's fairly easy to use and far less restrictive than apps like RPG Maker.

    1080P Possible?

Can't be done. If I recall correctly, the limiting factor is primarily bandwidth, which is just going to get even slower when you try to sync with several chips at high load.

"by far the most powerful handheld in the world?"

Please don't feed the trolls. Also; everybody chill. Would you rather the Pandora team spend all their time editing everything they've ever posted on the internet to keep up perfectly with the passing of time, or would you rather they just get this thing finished and into our hands?

Windows XP and Windows 7 on ARM.

I'm just speaking from personal experience. I've tried to convince several people to try out Ubuntu, but within a week all of them had destroyed their installation or asked me to reinstall Windows; One of them decided to try it out because they had endless virus problems on Windows, so they...

Windows XP and Windows 7 on ARM.

It's true that Linux can do pretty much anything Windows can do, but it's rarely done in a way that would be familiar or understandable to new users. There is never much consistency to how applications do simpler things. Take GUI Toolkits for example; Qt and GTK operate quite differently and it...

Windows XP and Windows 7 on ARM.

The only thing I Linux is really good for is servers and low-power devices like cellphones and MIDs that aren't meant to be as fully-functional as a traditional computer. It's really not all that well suited to desktop use unless you do nothing but programming. I have 4 laptops and three of...

    The Road To Hd...

USB to video converters add lots of CPU overhead and, because of bandwidth limitations of USB, can't handle higher resolutions. It wouldn't really be all that much better than S-Video.

    Pandora Cube

http://focus.ti.com/pr/docs/preldetail.tsp...;prelId=sc09021 Closer to one year away, with samples coming soon. The high volume part is probably the kicker. They said the same thing about OMAP3 and it was two years later before the chips ever hit any kind of mass production. I don't doubt...

    The Road To Hd...

HDMI, if you support the networking added in the 1.4 spec, otherwise DisplayPort would be best because of the openness, if a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter can be included or easily acquired.

    Pandora Cube

I would suggest doing an alternate release cycle; first you release a console version and then a year or two later you release a portable equivalent. Once those are out the door and everything has settled down you can start work on a new console and restart the cycle. Doing it that way would...

    We Need Moblin On Pandora.

The Moblin GUI would need a bit of reworking before it could work on the Pandora, as it expects a minimum resolution of 1024x600, so the tab buttons at the top would overlap the system tray and the tab slides would extend past the bottom of the screen. It'd be a great alternative OS if someone...

Windows XP and Windows 7 on ARM.

The MID business is dead. Microsoft knows this all too well. There is several reasons why releasing Windows 7 for ARM wouldn't really go to well, but at this point they haven't really got a choice; either they release a mediocre product that keeps the netbook market in their control simply by...
