Need Help. Think Its Broken.

I just switched my GP32 on and it went straight to Mr Spiv's bios monitor. I checked all my SMC's and they all did the same.
I cant get into PacRom at all, the only thing I can get is the BiosMonitor.

I flashed the bios about six months ago and it worked alright untill now. I havent changed it since.

What could the problem be?? It seems to have happened for no reason.

(btw- this even happens when using a PSU)

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Have you tried holding select when you turn it on and opening Windups or the original firmware?

The most logical reason would be low batteries.
Even PSU huh?

hmm, try full batteries anyway. Low batteries usually lead to a Mr Spiv bios moniter.

Thanks for the help, but its neither of those things.......

The batteries are new and as I say it even happens with a PSU.
Holding select still took me to the BiosMonitor.

This is so unfair! :(

hmm, weird. Damn, i had a similar prob a few weeks ago. If i jst remembered how i soved it..... I wish i could help you, but my brain is old, my legs are bend....

What was it? *gettingahammerandsmashingmyhead*

ill post it as soon as it comes to my mind

btw: did you try booting without ANY SMC inserted? And what did you do last before the problem started?

at first: my english is very bad ;)

pacrom crashes why your emu want to save data in SMC, if it interrupt it will crash the SMC

1. when you start the gp32 hold start and select -> now you are in the biosselector (or soo)
2. now start the official firmeware and choose link
3. open the pclink on your pc and format your cart
-> all is delete but Pacrom works now

NOPE, that didnt work.

When i now switch the GP32 on, it doesnt even go to biosMonitor, there is just a white screen.

It is still definitely not the SMC's or batteries though......
