Oc'ing In Emus

Is that whether or not we overclock to get sound and good speed because if thats what u wanna know, then SNES is the only one I overclock to get sound and half decent speed, but its not worth sacrifising the gameplay

not if you use:
Little John (NES)
fSMS32 (GG & SMS)
fGB32 (GBC & GB)

R u really desperate for sound tho, coz u can run Mega Drive and SNES full speed with a decent frameskip but with no sound

Most of the time people want sound if they can get it. Generally all the 8bit emulators are fine at 133 with sound as long as the sound is set at 22hz (most shouldnt need to go to 44)...

ok, i see
so, if i have sound on 22khx i can get full speed on gbc and nes?
im gettin a gp32 ( arrving here ) in bout 2 weeks, sooner than that i hope tho...

Well I cant comment on GBC because I never liked the quality at all in the games I tried with sound (not even sure you can adjust sound quality in the Emu I used) but NES(littlejohn) is near perfect that way.

what is the average OC for each of these systems and on which console ( with sound please)

NES <--- I don't OC. Sound is at 22khz though. (Little John)
SNES <--- OC to 156mhz - Sound 8bit, 11khz, Stereo Off (OpenSnes)
GG <--- Use fSMS myself and don't change any settings apart from screen size
SMS <--- Read Above
GBC & GB <--- fGB32 is great with debug off.
GPVGB is basic and sound is dodgy on GBC Games.
I haven't tried any others yet.
