I have done some tracking in the past, and i thought maybe i could help someone.. I could make some music for a game or a demo..
also sfx and stuff. Would anyone be interested, or are you developers making the sound yourself too ??

hell no! I can't read a single note... It would be nice if you show us some of your previous works...
well, and I am in the new of a MOD jingle it should not be any longer than 2 seconde (3sec is max). Can you do that for me? I need as an intro jingle for logo in upcoming stuff for the GP32.

If you are willing to do that for me full credit will be given! I guess you need some hints to be creative... my logo is:

* atmospheric
* cyberpunk
* big fish with giant teeth
* black and white

Hey synchro..
I'm pretty sure that i can make a jingle for you.. Maybe i should make 2 or 3 of them, so you can pick the one you like best. But with such a short piece of music, wouldn't a wavefile be more convenient ??

yes, that's right, when I have a mod file I can convert into a wav anyway. It is just symbolic, it has to be classic/retro. and because of the 4 channels it will sound different like a wav because there are limitations.

It would be very nice if you could do 2 or 3! thx!

True about the retro feeling.. But i could produce a 2sec wave with some of my studio equipment, that would make a mod sound like the teletubbies-theme :blink: Mods are NICE when you need 10min of game music under 300kb, because a 10min wave would take up a LOT of space!

You asked me for some of my work... well, i have this homepage containing some very small pathetic demo mp3's (they are demos because they should demonstrate the sound capabilities of my homebuilt software synthesizers. But i guess they could also be used to demonstrate me atleast knowing the basics of music composition) :huh: Here and here (rightclick and select 'save target as..')

But i do get your idea, and is somewhat heavily retro oriented myself, so i will stick to mod format ;)
let me have a few days, and then i'll try to contact you through PM or email..
Looking forward to work with mods again!

Thank you very much Hando..
Please tell me if you know of anyone who needs musical assistance!

I really enjoy tracking again :lol: For now, I try to make some descent background music for a freeware GP32 game, and I hope i can help Synkro out too..

Synkro: can you PM your email to me, so we could discuss off list ??

I would like to have some original background music for Mahyongg game I'm developing, in MOD format when possible :D
