well, I am buying a GP332 real soon so I have something to code for, and I was wondering if I should buy a FLU or non flu
well, I guess I am asking, is the GP32 non flu as bad as the GBA?
If the light isnt all that good, would the non FLu be fine?
Or should I just get the Flu, and spend a little more $$

I think that you should get the flu if you worry about it. Buy something that will satisfy your needs, cause the gp32 is pretty expensive, well worth the money but it is expensive. If you worry about it now just spend a lil more on it and get the good stuff. You can always get it off ebay or something.

Go FLU if you can afford it, your life will be easier. yeah the screen is a little better than the GBA, you can catch light a bit eaier to see the screen but if you never want to worry about the screen treat yourself to the FLU.

If you go none FLU you will regret this for the rest of your life (or until you buy a FLU at least). The one without frontlight does not feel like a real console, just a quite useless piece of equipment you can only get good light with if you are standing on the sun. My sister has a non-flu and I have a flu and she regrets it every single day.

If you don't get a FLU, don't go saying I didn't warn you.

Go FLU !
Not having flu severley limits the conditions you can play the GP32 in, its screen is as dark as the pits of hell, I switch on the light in every thing but direct sunlight.
Go FLU!

Depends what you plan to use it for. You say you want to code for it, so if you're like me then 95% of the time you'll be siting in one place with a good light source so a non flu will be fine. But if you have the cash for it I'd still go for a flu because I do sometimes regret not being able to read books in bed :(

I think the FLU is pretty much essential. My friend has a non-FLU console and is currently trying to sell it in order to get the FLU. If you intend to use your GP32 while travelling, a normal unit can be quite a pain.

95% of the time my non-FLU is great. But you can't play it in bed with the lights off, and visiting my parents 30W lit house doesn't help either.

Another one for the FLU. I usually play without the light as I play in my bed with the light shining directly over my shoulder (Pendellampe, I'll be damned if I know the english word for it ;)), but in any and each other location, the lights are on. If you do not want to take your GP32 with you and play on the bus for example (do not try using that thing while driving in your car, bad idea :D), the light is practically mandatory. I you just want to use it at home, I would just go for a normal unit.

Yeah, train light=good, bus light=bad, and if my Missus didn't insist on lights out in bed, I could use the GP there as well :(
