Hi,

I have recently downloaded Gpcinema and as my Pc doesn't work, I was wondering whether someone would be prepared to encode some videos for me? I would love to have finding nemo on my Gamepark and if someone who has lots of experience of encoding high quality movies for the gamepark would do this for me, I'll give them £5 for the cd and effort. This will be a great help to me and it would be nice to have a few good films. I would like Finding Nemo to be a 122 meg file (no less than 120) and encoded at the highest possible quality. If anyone would like to do this, then please get in touch.

ok-This is wrong in so many ways.First of you are asking for a copyrighted film.Secondly,If your pc is down how are you gonna transfer the film to gp?

Well my friend has a PC as well and I can transfer files from his PC on to my Gamepark. Plus legally I am allowed to own up to 3 copies of my data (film, games, books etc.) in ANY form as long as I own the original.

What country do you live in?

this sounds like the old german copyright, but that has been changed on April 1st or August 1st 2003 (not sure which date, one was the "Jugendschutzgesetz")

I thought the DVD was supposed to be sold at april 1st.... or tomorrow, if we're talking about the UK.

I live in the Uk and I am new to the GP32 scene therefore I haven't any experience in encoding movies. PLus my friend has very little hard disc space. Or alternatively if someone has EDonkey 2000 and types in "finding nemo gp32" a file will appear and that is a 119 meg file. So if someone could put that on CD, then that would be a massive help. (I have a dial-up connection)

Hm, you are asking for GPCinema versions of movies you (claim to) own but are not officially released (in the UK) yet. Can't see how this is any different from asking for a CD full of roms and IMO should be dealt with in the same way.

Aslo, Having a DVD doesnt allow u to DL other versions of this film at all...

There is confusion on the subject, but My belief (Take me to court I dont give a flying rat monkeys ass) Is that if I own A DVD, say XMEN2. then Im allowed to play it on my GP32.

Legally, I dont think the world will come for me for making a smaller, lower quality file of something I have paid for (Aslong as you dont share, broadcast, sell etc)

I Ask, all GP users to Make there own files for use on your GP32. And before you all moan "I have a small HDD and a slow PC" well, when Im not at work I will encode on a P2 233mhz laptop with 64mb of Ram and a 4mb video card (Do the maths and you will work out that I spend aeons to get one, but its mine, ALL MINE!
Space is an issue, buy a Bigger HDD (Get like a 10GB or 20GB for about £20)!

Im not a harsh or mean guy, and I will help any of you with encoding on shite pcs but please stop posting for ILLEGAL LINKS,Files
