Personaly to me graphics do not matter not even one bit im 100% about the gameplay. However my cousin is coming to visit and he tends to pick up a lot of the gaming items i collect and i want to get him into GP32, he however is more about the graphics then the gameplay.

What games could i buy ( from joygp) or download that would make him look at my GP32?

So far the best looking game i have seen is Doom would anybody care to add anything to the list?

Mill and ASR are beautiful games....But I dont own them so in fact I cant really tell
For mill you can read the review on GP32x...
For ASR some reviews are floating around the net....

see you

Cheers for that. I assume that you can get English language versions of both games?

Thats a real shame as i was just about to but Mill.

What English language games would you guys recommend?

Donkey Kong Country 1 for opensnes9x, it runs very well at one to two frameskip and looks great. Granted, it is not exactly made for the gp32 but it looks great regardless :)

according to the liksang FAQ's, ASR and Dungon & guarder have the best graphices at this time

(i wish ASR was in English - the screenshots look so cool)

yeah but those last two (DK and doom) are games that run on emulators. As for comercial games that are both in english and don't suck there is a very limited number of them available. Her knight is a pretty nice side scrolling beat em up type game and it does have an english patch. Tomak save the world again is also a pretty nice yat at times hard side scrolling shooter. Its got much of the same feel as metal slug but your an airplane of sorts. I think there is an english patch for this one but there is very little text so it doesn't matter. GPfight is my favorite gp32 comercial game of all. Its in korean but there is very little text or plot really and its totaly playable. It reminds me of the old technos games for the nes like river city ransom and super spike dodge ball. Its basicly a fighing game where you fight three other people at a time and each level has diffrent objectives which you must complete while kicking the crap out of everyone else. Another game that I think has an english patch but doesn't have much text and is playable anyway is little wizard. This is a standard 2d fighting game like street fighter 2. The graphics are pretty good but the framerate makes it a little choppy. I played it a little bit and it was fun but not spectacular.

of all those here is my list in order of best to worst

1.gpfight
2.her kinight
3. tomak
4. little wizard

Bloody Rescue is veeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrryyyyy good graphicaly..... But it doesn't have very good gameplay.... I still haven't figured out who I'm supposed to shoot, and why I loose even though I'm not dead yet :p

video yourself playing max payne 2 and convert it to work on gpcinema....
play it to him...while pressing the a and b button's...so it look's like your playing it...

sorry couldn't think of a real answer!!!!

I think ASR is the best looking GP native game, but Doom is the most jaw dropping to my friends (that, and GPcinema playing lord of the rings). and doom is not emulated, it's a port that runs native.

I got Dyhard, it's apparently completly in english, the graphics are fair but its hard as heck due to no pause feature and the fact that you only seem to have control over you jumping which is also hard because there's a charge meter you have to fill to jump.

EDIT:

Cool finally got to the second level, you actually do get to controll the character only now you have to do down rather than climb, and you get no jumping, only a limited parachute use.

spiffy!
