Don't want to sound stupid or anything, but will we ever be able to play Street Fighter 2 on a PC Engine emulator on GP32 without any graphical glitches or anything? Is GPEning still being updated?

Cheers,

probably not, if you want a good street fighter clone, try Strip Fighter for PC Engine, also Street Fighter II Turbo on opensnes9x is very good, frameskip 1 with sound on 156mhz.

ugh, stripfighter sucks even on a perfectly working PC emmulator. Dont wast his time! <_<
Umm, I play it sometimes when I want a funny fighting game, it runs fine for me, the speed is not street fighter II turbo speed, but its just as fast as the original Street fighter II game. I guess its all a matter of opinion.

yeah I was wondering whether there was a way to fix the graphical glitches too... This version is based on a console that has only two buttons, so I thought that it woudbe perfect for the GP32

I checked on mIRC, the people in the channels where you were supposed to contact black (maker of GPengine) havent seen him in over 26 weeks or something crazy like that...

It would be such a shame if GPEngine is no longer being worked on. If the developer is no loner making it then would he be able to pass it on for someone else interested to work on it. I think the PC Engine version of SF2 will be the best one running on GP32 (apart from maybe the Master System version). As someone said, if that "graphic garbage" can be removed or mostly then the emulation will be nearly perfect. I have also heard that other PCE emulators on other platforms have the graphic garbage when playing SF2, is SF2 a hacked game or something, or used hardware tricks on the PCE, i heard it is the biggest game on there.
