i cannot use my usb cable.. so I have to trasfer files via my card reader.

Can i unpack a .FPK file.. and with what software..?

Can i format my card to with any software, so that it has all the same directories and works and be recognised by the GP32 without using the linker cable..?

Thanks

There is a program that unpacks FPKs, Cant remember what it was called though

I think you have to format the card using the FAT 8.3 system for the GP32b to recognise it.

i cannot use the pc linker cable as i my win xp does not recognise the gp32. It notices its there but says cannot install drivers.

when i try to install the usb drivers (usb.ini file) it does not help.

Use GP Package Extractor v1.1 to unpack the files on your pc and copy them to your SMC via card reader.

There is a a zpk/fpk unpacker and you can download it at gp32spain.com, but the website is off right now but if you want I can send it to you via email.

You can format the card without pc-link, but you'll have to use pacrom to do it, and then create the directories (mp3, gpmm, game etc.). There might be another way but I don't know...

Not sure what that file is.

I use XP also and when I registered my GP32 I downloaded the Windows 2000 drivers (w2k.zip) from GamePark. Try downloading that file, extracting its contents to a folder, and then choose that folder when using the new device wizard in XP.
