ok I must first say i love my gp32 i have been enjoying many of the games i have packed away in boxes. I even located a place that allowed me to purchase the turbografx games on a cd. I can't wait to play splatterhouse again.

On that note
i have been playing around with different emulators and have not started with the genesis or the atari ones yet.

nes is just about flawless i really like it and have been playing gauntlet again very nice.
the snes emulator is not as playable as i would like and i wonder if there is an issue of overcloclking that could help or if there is a better emu for it than the snes9 that i'm using. also does anyone know if it helps to have fewer roms on the card?

That said i'm about to get the movie downloads going, and am wondering where people are getting their simpsons and south park episodes i can just pull them to my pc if need be but was wondering if there was a source.

thanks all
Aaron

the snes emulators are at the moment still work in progress so speed and sound 9and transparancy) emulation is still a little ways off from being perfect, however,
opensnes9x has a certain amount of games that run very well with sound if you can overclock to at least 150 - 160.

as for the amount of roms on your card, no, it doesnt make any difference if its full or empty.. all the emu does is load a single rom into RAM memory while its running, ignoring physical space on the MMC.

theres a sticky list in general about which games can be run fast with sound, super punchout is probably the most perfect :D

as mentioned, use Opensnes for SNES emulation. If you are lucky, you may be able to overclock to 166mhz.(It has an in emulator clock speed option, unlike Snes9x) You can also find specificly clocked versions (eg- 156,166mhz etc) of Snes9x at gp32world.

As for movies, you could just rip your DVD's and convert them to DivX. Cant really discuss online sources for copyrighted material here, so just look in the usual places.

If you have any questions that people can't answer, typing your question in google will usually tell you anyway.

I hope you didn't pay much for that PC Engine CD, that stuff is available free.
