Wouldnt this have been nice?
I know the picture is a bit big, but just think of it as the same but with a bit smaller window space!

What do you think?

Too bad i cant code it, someone can? :)

just a little precision:
You cant a have a real time clock in your desktop coz if so you would have to set it at each boot since the GP32 clock isnt powered...

Maybe it could be good to have an OS
See you

BeOS is a GREAT OS... but on a handheld? it's developed for 166 Mhz + machines (PPC, Intel, AMD) so I think a 8 MB machine would be hard... but it's a great OS... modified Unix kernel and so on...
Linux with its small footprint or AmigaOS or Symbian... Linux is the only portable though...

I think there is a way to make an external horloge.
I think we could do an external system with internal horloge, who run independantly (~_o) and from where the data is uploaded to the OS.

Am i understandable ? ^ ^'

Would it be possible to hook up an external flux compaciter therefore when i'm speeding along at 88 mph I can travel to any point in time that I want?

Sorry, just joking around because I have absolutely no clue about what your talking about. :p

This is pretty much what Guyfawkes's WinGP will be I think, just with an XP theme instead of BeOS.

Yes, its BeOS, my favorite OS (i rin BeOS User Group Nordic) :)

But, i don't mean this to BE BeOS on the GP32, but a wind-ups like with the BeOS GUI! I love the GUI, its clean and professional! I would love to have it on my GP32!

Forget the clock, i wasnt shure about it, so i left it there. We could have something else there! :)

I dont know, but it would have been cool!

Is WinGP released? I know its closed down, but is the half done work released? And source?

Is it possible to have windows? Or do it have to be single window?

Please understand, I wasn't criticizing your post or idea. I also think the BeOS-look is beautifull and clean and would look great on the GP32 :)
Would be nice to have a skinnable Wind-ups so you could choose your own OS.

Taras, what about your evil window manager / skin thing? Perhaps someone could add fxe launching and BeOS themes to it :)

However, as I have said to ConneX previously, I think the GP32 is better off with a PocketPC-style interface with one application onscreen at a time, there simply isn't enough need or room for multiple apps onscreen at once.
