Anyone tried the yopy?

It is something I am currently trying to get ahold of, the price is way too high in the uk at the moment.

Does anyone know how it handles the emulators? I see mame etc. but no real news on performance.

Anytime, Anywhere

Well... We've never seen THAT before... <_<

Looks exactly like the GP32 was "supposed" to be... It even looks like it has the same type of ext port. Mabye it is GamePark with another name... :p And it's from Korea. ;)

looks cool but its about 500 USD and its quite expensive isnt it?
In fact I would be pleased to have a 3700 but I cant even buy a 3000.... :'(

see you ;)

Might get one of them (to replace the SideKick that had its service cancelled). Especially if it can use any Wireless LAN...

It has videolan ported to it I think. I would like to get one but the problem is its not the right orentation for playing games

Let's get gamepark to sue em for using "Anywhere, Anytime" So they'll be able to make enough money for Euro launch again :p

It looks a lot like the Entware website ... perhaps this thing is by Gamepark or at least perhaps some workers who left Gamepark to do this. It's not a GP64 though, by any means.

Nope, the Yopy is older. It used to be the Samsung Yopy, one of the first Linux PDA's, but I guess Samsung pulled out.

Yeah, the yopy has been around for a few years in one form or another. It was up there with the first of the 'other than palm' pocket sized toys.

Would be very cool to have but just a tad pricey for a toy...
