Hi,
with all the GP32 sites around the web I dont see the point with having a new one. ...but it could be good if a new site was talking about hardware mod like the topic named :"8bit Digital I/O (started by: nigelibrown)" :)
That would be cool with a little forum where people could write what they did with that

see you ;)

I voted "other", since there doesnt seem to be a central download area for GP32 (Its kind of spread over a number of sites). Reviews of more obscure games can help. I've found dozens of old games that are rarely known about, but are complete gems in my book.

OK I personally would love to be able to find:

A) a site where there's info/tips/guides on games... at the mo I'm MEGA stuck on Her Knights 4th level... cant get past those damned Zombies!! how can I kill the boss with 6 or 7 zombies that respawn =\

B) more coding tuts, beginners and intermediate tuts, theres a fair few tuts on making RAM upgrades, all sorts of hardware stuff, some real complex coding stuff, some MEGA beginners guides... but nothing in between :(

C) An elite crew of kick ass kung foo whores sent back in time to find all those evil GP32 warezers and castrate them all before they publish any games online :D

It would be nice to have a place that you could go to see reveiws of PD ROMs (and even commercial ones). You wouldn't even have to host the files, but just have an editor review and a place for user reviews (and 0-10 scale ratings).

Take Amazon.com or http://www.the-underdogs.org/ as an example. They have their site's reviews, but then they let the users also come in and give a rating.

Anyway, it just seems that whenever I want to load up my GP32 with games, I have to spend a lot of time downloading a whole bunch of games and then testing 'em to see which I want to try further and which ones aren't what I was looking for.

If there was a site with a description, screenshots, and then some ratings, I could really narrow down what I was looking for before I even download anything.

the best idea i've read so far is the elite gang of kung-fu knackers going around after GP32 warezers...

we're pretty covered as far as serious gp32 sites go...
i'd like to see a more humorous type of site... it should include a forum...

i'm thinking of a site that might include parodies of infamous websites through the years... i'm thinking 'REAL ULTIMATE POWER'... i'm thinking 'B.A. VS. THE GP32'... i'm wondering what possible future mods the gp32 could have...

piss-take reviews... links to fake rom sites...

'someone set us up the USB-port' ... 'we got problem'

a humorous (note:i didn't say 'funny') gp32 website would fill a gap :D

EDIT: famous people playing gp32 might be a good feature... :p

EDIT: and I think you/we should go on a mission to find out who that mystery gp32 sex-kitten from the sidetalkin' site is... like a feature, with a diary and stuff :p

thats a good idea, i'm gonna put something stupid and funny on my site GP related, maybe a fake diary of a gp32 player with some pic i find on the net. LOL

Thanks for all the great feedback guys :D

I've been checking the poll all day and I think the majority of gp32 users don't need another site.

Therefore I am seriously considering cancelling my site. Its no big deal and it will save me some beer money ;)
