tell us what happened! if it just stops working after a while and you see white lines on the screen then that means that you need new batteries... calm down, don't piss your self

Did you overclock it too high?
you can't kill a gp32 by overclocking unless you do a volt mod and go way out of specs. which i doubt he did. whether or not overclocking from software is dangerous has been talked about a million times, and the conclusion always was that it's not dangerous at all.

PS: 2^8th post! :D

no pissing occured.

nothing happens when i turn it on, tried fresh batteries, it really is dead.

so i need to know a place that will fix it, will GBAX?

i think i killed it by pluggin in an adaptor with the wrong polarity :(

I dont think you will have much luck getting it repaired, gbax only sells them, not repairs. Gamepark offer a repair service but they say that they will not cover damage by an adapter.

"The adapter is not included with the GP32 and is a separate product. Any damage caused by misuse of the adapter will not be covered by the warranty." Page 26 GP32 Manual

So you probably wont get it repaired under warranty because you used an adapter which broke your gp32. Im not sure whether you may be able to pay them to repair it but i think it us unlikely. :(

The most common reason for returned broken GP32's is people using the wrong adaptor (like 9 volts) but its often very hard to accuse people of doing this as they deny it.

However, I have discovered one fried in this way will often still work from a correct adaptor only (batteries don't anymore).

So if you have a 3v correct adaptor and try it, turn the GP32 on and off a bit it might come back to life.

My collection of hacked up GP32s/overclocking experiment/etc. are all returned ones with this issue which i put to a decent use.
