hi every one!

I was looking at joygp its seems pretty good but there are many unanswered questions can any one help me ?

1.ok I get my gp32 and link cable, Hook it up,download a game but as the original boxed games have to be assigned to the smc does this mean i cant back it up on the pc?

2.Can I only have one game on an smc even if its 128mb?

3.Have you used it what do you think?

4.What happens if you get cut off the net half way?do you lose the game?

Thanks for your time

Hi,

1. You can make a backup of boxed GP32 games ( For peace of mind, Incase the card gets corrupt etc). But to use said game/s, You have to copy it back to the original SMC you purchased the game on. As you already seem to know each game is assigned/locked to a SMC with a specific ID number.

2. You can have as many games as you can fit on an SMC as long as they are the downloaded type (remember: Commercial items will only work with the registered GP32) and not boxed versions (see question 1).

3. Yes i have used joyGP (entware.com) on a few occations (Pinball dreams, Moviepark, GPcinema etc). I think the service is great althought i have heard from other people its not perfect, Ive not experienced any problems myself, Yet (fingers crossed) :D .

4. No, You don`t lose the game. When you purchase a game from joyGP and your payment is accepted you get given a link to download the item purchased (Its in your "My JoyGP" Link), The link stays active for about 4/5 days.

Hope this helps. :)
