Now this is weird... I posted a topic about the new 3D Engine on GP32 released at the news zone board, and i got that weird error thingy (which i was told to ignore cuz my post would had gotten through anyway) and i saw that the post was infact there.. sooner or later i left the boards, then come back, and found out that my thread no longer exists, and it apparently has been replaced by generalmx's? What's goin on?

a weirder question would be :
Why does my scroll bar disappear whenever I come into these forums recently?
Anyone else experiencing this?

I've noticed something tonight.

When I try to get to the discussion board from the link on the home page, I don't get the scroll bar. The adress bar is different also. It usually comes up http://www.gp32x.de/board. But I've just gotten http://www.gp32x.de/ and that's when I also don't get a scroll bar.

That's an IE-only problem. You guys should realy look at Opera (in my opinion a superior browser). Give it a few days and I believe that many of you will stay far away from IE in the future.

Edit: Btw, I'm talking about the scroll bar problem.

Regarding post - dont know what could cause such a behaviour of board engine. Maybe some kind of bug. I am going upgrade board to the newest version available (probably today) so i hope it wont happen in future. Sorry for that.
Regarding scrollbars :) Well, actually it was my fault. I was checking posibility to put gp32com into frames with purpose to hide all those long php urls (<frameset rows="*,0"> - who know html will know what i mean ;) and accidentally set one of the frame to no scrolling. And that was the reason that scrollbars were disabled :) Sorry for that too. Actually i was too tired and didnt removed framesets but now everething is like earlier meaning normal :))

yeah, I was wondering why I wasn't getting any scrollbars. I thought I was the only one. Well, thanks for fixing it hando. ;)

I dun get that scrollbar prob and I'm using IE all the time (even on these crappy Windows 98 college computers) weird...

I'll say what I say to Linux lovers.

Fine, unless you want to play games and emulators, the vast majority of which are Windows only. Awww...

When they start including Macs in Windows and integrating them to the OS, I'll get one. Until then, I'll stick with IE.

Microsoft has won the browser war with me because it's too much of a pain in the ass to download and install different browsers on all my computers at home and at work.

I don't really want to get into OS wars lest this thread be relegated to the spam bin, but I must ask you, why bring up Linux when people are talking about Macs and Opera? Besides, those that want to play games on Linux-based distributions will find ways to do it through WineX or native ports, but the majority of Linux users don't use it for gaming, they use it for cheap office solutions or servers.

Oh and Flack, excellent summarisation of why Microsoft is often called a monopoly.
