I've been away recently and haven't been checking this board. I've had a look through recent postings in the different GP2X forums and on gp2x and gbax.com but I can't see anything about the Breakout Box- whats happened to it? I remember reading some bad stuff about it so hopefully they're working on getting rid of those flaws (can't remember exactly what they were)

Great to see someone has ported GPE over though- or at least it will be great as soon as USB mouse, keyboard and 640x480 video out work.

Non-Housed version available within the next days / weeks.
Housed version available about August.

... sorry, but someone had to do it <_<

Wouldn't it be better to buy the Developer's version anyways? Since from the description on buygp2x.com, it seems to have more features. (like JTAG)

If I bought a BoB, I would only want TV-Out and a couple of USB ports on it so I could use it on the TV with a couple of USB gamepads for multiplayer gaming (maybe once I get better at programming I'll write a wrapper that maps USB gamepad buttons to GP2X buttons for 1st player suport, though it'd have to be up to the game developers to add 2nd player support).

Fantastic... I'll get one as soon as a housed one turns up, assuming the price is within my means (hoping it will be :) ). Been holding off on the TV out cable and replacement cap to wait for the BoB's release, so looking forward to it muchly...

arent there 3 being made?

developer version, with no case (why no case anyway? devs need shiny cases too!)

docking version from GPH.

slimmer, more portable version from techfreak

buygp2x.com have the developers version instock already. Id still like to know how the mini BoB had been progressing that TechFreak was working on...

What kind of shop is this?!
No adress anywhere, the privacy notice ("Put here your Privacy Notice information.") and the conditions of use ("Put here your Conditions of Use information.") have the default texts of osCommerce and when you order a gp2x, you can add a "Dedicated Picture of Anna Hong" for 10 US$... (I wonder if Anna knows about this...)

Holy moley...

I noticed those things as well and was like wtf I didnt know who Anna Hong was until I did a search here lol. They are listed as a official distributor of the GP2X on the GamePark Holdings website so they can't be that dodgy can they? or can they o_O !
