Strange one this.

When I quit prboom (installed in an SD card) it freezes on the (Press Y to quit) screen, and yes I am pressing Y.

However if I run the same prboom from NAND (files copied across) it quits perfectly ok.

Anyone got any ideas as to why the difference.

TIA

It takes some time to quit. Try waiting a little longer, I have the same problem, it's just a part of the coding I think :)

Wow, your right it does get there in the end, but 6 minutes and 13 seconds (I timed it)!! Surely theres something not right there, it takes only 8 seconds when installed on the NAND.

Is this normal?

6 minutes? It should only take 8 seconds regardless of whether it's on NAND or SD

Have you noticed any other programs on the SD card hanging or taking quite some time to load? It sounds like a problem with the SD to me.

Wow, and I thought VICE was bad when waiting to quit! There is certainly something odd going on there. Reformat your SD and try again!

Just a quick reply on this. I tried it today and I have the same problem. I didn;t actually wait 6 minutes or whatnot, I just rebooted the GP2X after about two minutes. That is just WAY to long to wait for the game to quit either way you cut it! I tried it on four different SD card brands...which leads me to think there is a problem with the program itself.
