My trusty PS2 died today... It's been in service for over 5 years. Since I am going to get a PS3 at launch, should I live without my PS2 games for the next 6 months? Or, just spend $130 for the stop gap solution? I was going to go through PS2 games that I passed on last year this summer, since the summer game release draught has begun. Now, my plan's ruined...

What I always do when a console dies...

- Grab some beer (other alcohol drink will do fine too),
- Start drinking,
- Set it on fire, while thinking of the good times you too had together, (I prefer using plain car fuel, from your neighbours car)
- Wait till it's only a bunch of plastic
- Then go to bed and dream about the past 5 years you spend your moments with your PS2
- When you wake up, visit al the local stores and ask for work so you can buy a PS3 in a couple of months ;)

Ofcourse you should post a bunch of pics of the 3rd and 4th step

MY PERSONAL CONDOLEANCE*****************

I hereby declair I said:
Let itsme's PS2 rest in peace...

Amen...
**************************************END

You could also try to send it back to Sony and say you bought it a year ago, and hope you'll get a new one ;)

-Enjoy the carcogens you just breathed in.

ya seriously. But you may be the first human being to get every form of cancer ever discovered and then some ;).

I would probably wait at this point. Earlier this year Sony replaced mine free. At of now though, I personally would wait.

One time I lit a PVC pipe on fire and all of this thick yellow smoke poured out. That would be a dioxin, an extremely carcinogenic dioxin. Most plastics are going to have some insane carcinogen released when its burned.

If someone made a Dreamcast emulator, they would be the richest man in the world from all of the donations.
There are quite a few Dreamcast emulators out there, and I don't see any of their authors reaching Bill Gates status
