I think people would rather that I be working on Nethack these days, but I've been working on a goofy little game called "Zooov 4:05" instead. Here's a couple teaser screen shots:

I kind of doubt people will like this game but it's fun to work on.

"The psychedelic dodgeball game with the spinning green sausage"

Well that looks quite trippy.... What do you have to do? It's difficult to tell from the screenshots.
Hit the green balls. Avoid the red ones.

Interesting, kind of like Kuru kuru kururin with balls? :)
I just did a search on that game, which I'm not familiar with. Actually, it is similar in that the oblong thing spins and you have to drive it around. Here I thought I had an original idea, oh well! Doesn't matter much I suppose.

Looks interesting :) I'm just wondering though, are the background images static or do they morph in real time? If it's the latter, that's gonna be way cool.
The background morphs slowly while it scrolls sideways.

I've played games somewhat similar to this, and I've always liked them. Your take on it looks awesome, especially the trippy effects.

Can't wait :D

looks cool..
reminds me to work on my kuru kuru kururin clone for fenix again :)

i think it'd do best with 8bit retro music! like the kind you get with keygens and stuff. *cough* not that i use a lot of keygens...

Now add a really spiffy progressive-rock-techno-house soundtrack and this could turn into the next big homebrew hit on the 2X.
The music's already selected, history will decide if it was a good choice :)
