Hi.

I've tried updating to firmware 2.0.0 a number of times using a "MyFlash" 1 GB SD card, and have had no success. I assumed the problem was that the card I was using was incompatible, so I ordered a Kingston 512 MB card from Amazon, which according to the GP2X Wiki, is compatible. Well sadly, I still can't manage to upgrade using my new card either.

I think I'm doing everything right. I formatted both cards to FAT32, I copy all the firmware files to my SD card, I have a good power supply, and I start up the unit while holding Start and Select.

Can someone tell me what the problem is? Help would be very much appreciated.

Are you putting them in the root directory?
Indeed I am.

Side note: I noticed on the GP2X wiki that someone wrote they managed to upgrade from 1.2.1 to 2.0 using the SD card I bought. I'm currently running on 1.4 firmware. Maybe I could downgrade to 1.2.1 and then try upgrading to 2.0 from there...
