What do I have to convert my MP3's to for use on GP32?? I just converted one and played it on GP32 and it plays in Fast motion (Sounds like the chipmunks :D) Is their a way to compress them to 1.7MB so they play in normal speed??

Thanks

I'd be quite horrified if your using the built in mp3 player get the team 2kyaa beta mp3 player. If it still doesn't work your a bit limited i use diet mp3 but for some reason atleast for me the mp3 player wont playback mono tracks only stereo tracks if thats any help

you should not have to do anything to your mp3 if there playing a funny speed its not your gp mine always work and on the firmware on too but the new one is beeter to work with

Hi,
Just got team 2kyaa beta mp3 player but when I run it when Im in WIND UPS in says "MP3 FILE NOT FOUND"... But when I start it with Free Launcher it works fine and plays my Mp3's... Is it not compatable with Wind-Ups or something??

Thanks

Steve

no it seems to not be maybe theres some fix but anyway its what made me switch to pacrom + led me to have a new directory system of Apps Emulators and Games instead of gpmm etc just makes things easier for ppl knew 2 the gp32 2

Try GPogg. It will play any bitrate upto 400kbps without any problems. Not only that but ogg files are alot smaller than mp3. I think you should give it a try, I stopped using mp3s since.

I don't use Wind-Ups (Free-Launcher here), but the K2yaa Beta doesn't work for me. It goes to a black screen with the message "MP3 File & List File Loading.." and doesn't go any further

how long did you wait with the message about the MP3 file list loading?

Before I bother to download this, does it play files "A" and "B" like the original did, or does it use a play-list like the MP3 players now?

22KHz MP3s will play at fast speed, as the integrated player plays all tracks at 44KHz regardless of what the file says to do. Hence 11KHz tracks will play at 4x speed, 48KHz at slower than normal.

To be honest, your MP3s should all be 44KHz by default. I use my GP32 to play my tracks (44KHz, 192Kbit/sec no problems, so perhals less of the converting & try just copying them accross & playing?)

No, this is a newer version. It has a pretty good menu, and plays oggs perfectly.

I use wind-ups and love the interface. Ok, 2kyaa doesn't work with it. Fine.

Media player 0.5 hasn't worked either for me. Is it just my system bugged, or does anyone have any tips on music within Wind-ups?

(no ogg please. it's no fun converting lossy compression to another lossy compression) :(
