Hello,
I've got a little bit of free time over the next few days so I was wondering if anybody has noticed anything with Wolf3D that they feel needs to be fixed, looked at or even would be a cool extra feature...

So far I've fixed the overly fast turning but I was wanting to get atleast something else done before making a release so if you've noticed anything that goes wrong please feel free to comment and I will do my best to fix it :)

hmm, alright but how are you going to input the codes without a keyboard? There's alot of debug cheats enabled by using goobers and it would be more than our small button configuration on the GP2X could probably handle...

I think he means to use it like this:

./wolf3d.gpe --goobers
cd /usr/gp2x/
exec ./gp2xmenu

or whatever ya.

Also, I was thinking on how cheats were implemented in PRBoom. A series of button presses enables/disables certain cheats. Or maybe a front-end to launch with cheats turned on or off.

The only big problem I had was the fast turning rate. If that's fixed, then I'll love it.

Hooka - you're wonderful! I was playing a couple of hours on Wolfenstein 3D (one of my favourite games I add) - I would be grateful if you could please fix the following issues with the interpreter/emulator:

1) Using Firmware 2.0.0 the sound gets a little choppy at times, would be great if you could fix this (it was fine in Firmware 1.4)
2) On Episode 1, level 3 (as I recall) the game refuses to start the level, the GP2x keeps crashing at exactly this point (ie level 2 finishes, results given, loads level 3, crashes). I had to start playing Episode 2 as a result. I have the full version of the game, not the shareware version.
3) Someone posted a while ago that Episode 1 (I think) could not be completed as the boss didn't drop the key when killed (I don't know if this is right).
4) Saving takes longer - the wheel (showing it saving) stops and then creeps up to speed again (saving takes longer than it used to). Perhaps this is a clash somewhere with Firmware 2.0.0?
5) Occasionally the game freezes (crash); reboot, back to same place, ok again.
6) There were many additional maps/mods people made for Wolfenstein 3D - can they be run on the interpreter/emulator please?

It would be great if you were able to solve these issues please!

It's a port of the engine rather than an emulator or interpreter. :) Just a heads-up.
