Best Games For Neo Geo Emulator.

Metal Slug series
KOF series
Neo Turf Masters
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Sonic Wings

uhh.... just about all of them are great :p my collection fills up one of my 1gb cards, all by itself.

lol i got all them(bar metal slug) plus

neo drift (...ok)
neo bomberman (...cool)
some japanese quiz game..(which would be good if i could read japanese)
some money puzzle game.

and more that i cant remember.

Blazing Star runs amazingly well, Metal Slug 1, 2 and X run great, as do Twinklestar Sprites and Puzzle Bobble/Bust a Move. About anything should run at full speed with the ARM920T overclocked to about 299 MHz like mine, if it doesn't use tons of hardware scaling (which is still slow but not used that often on the hardware.)

I run mine at the default clock speed of 200 MHz with sound and it runs most games fine (except Metal slug). I set the sample rate to 11025 and that helps speed alot. You don't notice the sound quality difference too much out of those small speakers anyway.

The Last blade series are great. (just have to tweak the cpu, sound to 11025)
Neo turfmaster
Windjammers
Puzzle bobble
Samurai showdown series
Metal Slug series
Magical Drop
Neo Bomberman

There are the first that came to my mind, but neo-geo is still a great gaming platform.

All my favourites have been mentioned, but I was just wondering if any of you know of a way to have rage2x show only the games you actually have? All those red names are kind of depressing :)

i haven't tested this but i just looked at the dat files and i think u can do it manually by editing the rage2x.dat file using notepad or whatever. u should delete all games u don't want it to list save it and use that dat file instead of the other one.

downside of it is that u'll have to edit it again if u want more games to be shown or deleted but at least it will show only the games u want

I've not tried it on the Neo Geo emulator but Turf Masters Golf is beautiful on MAME, so I would imagine it is on this too....

Aside from those already mentioned:

Waku Waku 7 (see sig)
Shock Troopers
Street Hoop (brilliant music)
Real Bout Fatal Fury series

I was waiting to see if waku waku 7 was going to be mentioned, I've been waiting for waku waku 8 for ages ;).

No other game are you able to fight a female hygine product as a bonus level.

Seriously why this game never got the following KOF had I don't know.

This is off-topic a bit, but has anyone gotten Strikers 1945 Plus to work? I've tried 2 different versions of this romset without success and no real error or symptom except for immediate exiting back to the menu without even trying to load the binaries inside the ZIP. Truly puzzling behavior and a real shame since MAME does not run any good 68000-based shooters. :(

I think you are thinking of Bonus-Kun, a big punching bag. :) But I'll certainly never think of HIM the same way again..
