Drmdx And Fwv2.0

I still get black screen on all 4 roms i tried (sonic 1-3 and Dune)

the old version (flickering menu one) still works with those roms

both betas you just posted have this problem for me.

zipped roms or unzipped? Normal rom directory or somewhere new and exciting?

Sorry just to confirm, does DrMD lock up when you load a rom? or are you able to get back to the DrMD menu without restarting?

I moved the executable from the folder '3_drmdx' (SD/3_drmdx) to the root of SD card (SD/) & now roms are working.. I don't think it likes it if you run it from within a directory. Oh & yes before it was locking up..

thanks for taking time to sort this.. another thing I have noticed is that it doesn't remember the roms directory - every time I select to select rom I have to keep pointing to roms/megadrive folder.

In order to save the roms directory you will need to click "Save Settings", sorry I should have mentioned that.

It can still be tempromental at times it will still hang at black screen after selecting a rom (although this is rareish). More importantly it always hangs after selecting to exit - requiring a power reset.

I think its to do with the 2D acceleration code I've added, I wanted to test something. I'll switch to the old code and see if it works better. These problems sound very similar to the whole snes episode, there should be a new version in 30 or so minutes, so check this space.

Well I removed the 2D code but I still had a lockup, so looks like there is another problem. I'll have another crack tomorrow, time to sleep now.

I reckon that 2d code is all good whatever the problem is its prolly something tedious since when it works it works well.. I know you'll find the problem soonish with a fresh mind.

Once again thanks man. Maybe one day I will code as good as you moving away from scripting so I can actually develop some of my top notch ideas into playable games.

Great to see some new releases Reesy. All my games have worked fine, though I have seen the bug where the 2x locks up on exit.

Also, you mentioned that this was supposed to fix tvout. Is that PAL only? I'm in north america and it didn't seem to work when I just tried it. Any chance of NTSC support? I would love to see this emu running on my tv. :)

DrMD for me works fine; the titlebar in the menu claims v 4.3 if that helps.

Roll back a version and you're good to go :)

Beta 2 does not have a flicker on my screen but it can not load Sonic 1 (locks up), I also noticed the main menu being VERY slow and when I clicked on Select Rom it was super fast (when I mean slow I mean scrolling and the X's in the background).

The old 4.3 works fine besides the flickering menu.

Where am I supposed to put the saves etc in this new version?
Put them in the same dir in the emu but when I load my games the saves don't show.

Other than that, same as others are getting - hangs sometimes etc.
