Eagle? Wtf Is That?...


It creates schematic diagrams.

Damn, I'm an idiot and even I figure it out ...
 
No no no! That seems obvious to me, but the thing is, why do you need it (for anything I do, I just use paint...) Did anyone here use it?

Yes - I am.

It much better than any normal paint program (vector or not) for electronic schematic and printed circuit design.

Before I was using Dia for that and with Eagle I can do the same (and much better) many times faster.

The noncommercial licence for Eagle is free and the light version is cheap too. It isn't the best program for such tasks but it's decent, reliable and has reasonable price tag. You can do whole documentation in it for production and it even can export data in more others formats like Gerber.

And it has version for Linux as well. Basically pretty decent aplication.
