Nicest Gp2x Ever Seen So Far!!!

Something about 15,000 shades of gray topped with glitter makes that particular unit look quite cheap. :)

If you look at the beta videos, you can see that he picks up a white unit, and goes through the functions - but behind it, if you look hard, you can see a row of about 3-4 more units, each with custom paintjobs. There were dark-grey, black, white, and some other variation of the original gp32 variety there.

Or someone realy did a very nice paintjob (which I think), or someone had a lot of freetime :)

Why is everybody screaming that almost everything is photoshoped?

That cannot be a custom paintjob - that person would have to have had the GP2X decal to put over the new coat of paint.

[Edit] Not to mention that the decal states "Personal Game Player" - which was the original wording put into the logo - it was later changed to Personal Entertainment Player

looks like a prototype unit to me. photoshop is good software but in this case (and in most cases) it'd be easier to just photograph the real object. the screen looks drawn on, however.

Is it just me, or do you guys actually believe it to be a real gp2x? To me, it seems to be cg render...because of the awkward frontal lighting, and lack of scanlines... (old firmware from looks of it...)

its not a render, and not every unit has scalines (mine doesnt) the screen looks pasted on though..not sure if it really is though
it's a prototype of some sort...pictures been around before the 2x was even released..
