Yes, what is the best part of the media functions? I'd say .ogg... Makes 512 MB seem a whole lot bigger for music ;)

mp3 because it's the multimedia thing tha tI used the most.
But DivX player is a nice feature too !

The main use of my gp2X is still playing old video games and homebrews.

Yeah, E-books for me, too. For music I have my olympus m:robe and I am not that much of a movie lover that I would have to take it with me, eventhough I might do that on longer trips...

am i the only person that doesn't do any of these things? :)

i am currently reading atlas shrugged (not enjoying it very much btw) and it's 1000 pages in the mass-market-paperback that i have. i shudder to think what it'd be like trying to read that on a smallish lcd. it'd be nice to not have to carry books around, but how many can you read at once anyway?

don't read manga...i've read some vertigo label comics but again i'd rather have it on paper.

and i have an mp3 player. but i could see where if you didn't have one you'd find the music functionality of the gp2x quite nice. the next time i'm on a plane (hopefully for e3) i will probably stock up on some ali g.

Mp3 Player for me.
(As i don't own a mp3 player)

Great for audio books, finished listening to Red Dwarf/Better Than Life not so long back on my gp2x.

I hate the built in mp3 player. The quality is horrendous. Couple that with low quality speakers and it makes for a bad combination.

OldPlay is significantly better, but still is not that great and it crashes on me all the time.

Does anybody actually use the speakers? If I ever realize that I haven't plugged headphones in I fix that immediately.

You dont have Mp3+manga up there...

I use madplay to listen to music and read my manga at the same time... The pictures load a little bit slower but it works fine ^^
