I saw "Saving Private Ryan" yesterday ( Long time overdue, I know).

'Twas such a good film!

Does anyone know any good war films other than the above?

Cheers

Starship Troopers.

Starship Troopers is great. The sequal sucked as hell though, a miserable Alien clone. (Was by a different director then the original, so, meh)

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Full Metal jacket. :)

I didn't know that counted, dear God seconding this it's one of the most brilliant films ever. The best bit was when I was thinking to myself "what a babe, I'd love to see those pies", what's this? SHOWER SCENE

Probably my saddest post ever

The deerhunter. I suppose technically that was a war movie. In any event, it was phenominal. One of the greatest movies of all time iirc.

Editted due spoilers, sorry. Quite a 'shocking' movie..
Oh, these are not really war movies but still WWII themed, The Pianist and Shindler's List.

The Pianist...was really really sad...but awesome, never forget awesome. Adrien Brody really did fit that role really well...

Strange thing about the Blackadder series..I can actually find it at my local library...in suburban NJ. Wow...that's weird...

I have schindler's list on DVD somewhere around here, so ill take a butchers.

I really love the action of the war scenes, also it kind of educates you as to what it was lik ( though im sure it's glorified).

The Army adverts that are playing over here have got my attention. They really make me think about the advantages to signing up.. y'know.. if the time comes.

But I'm sure its subliminal messaging messing with my head :p
