Sup yal. I'm new to registering at gp32x.de (i've went here all the time with being a member) and this is just a question out of curiosity: Do passwords work with the gp32 for games? I never use them but it's just a question out of curiosity. they probably do but just wondering. I don't own a GP32 :( but am perservearing to get one via ebay (if people don't bid TOO DAMN HIGH!) Anyway, I'm just curious.

I'll cover all bases here:

1. Your gp32x.de/board/ password does not work on your GP32 console (yet)
2. Some (emulated) games enable password 'saving'.
3. Some games also have password cheat codes, which also work in a way or another on emulated games.

I know English is unlikely your first language (it sure as hell ain't mine :p), but in future posts try to explain what you mean more clearly, even if that means writing a couple of extra sentences.

Thanks :) . <_< English is my first Language (I was born in Baltimore and english is one of my best subjects). Though my name is foreign (African). Just to clear it up for you, I meant were you able to input certain buttons (for example: For a SNES Game - Up,Up,Down, Left, A,X,Y,L) to get, lets say, a new character or stage or something. I just wanted to know if the GP32 was capable of performing this operation.

Any cheat codes that worked on the original ROM will work under emulation too. Some emulators also allow you to enter Gameshark/Action Replay cheat codes.

I actually knew this, I just wanted to confirm this theory. It makes sense too.

My mistake pade. In SNES's case, it might be hard to get passwords to work, as the GP32 does not have as many buttons as the SNES pad did. Sure, you can configure which buttons correspond to which, but you cannot simultaneously press a series of different buttons. Of course, every other emulated system is problem-free.

It's good to know you are 13, watch out for flamers though.

How quaint, you can all attend the upcoming middle school jamboree together! I hear they're going to have a make-your-own candied apple booth and yugioh tournaments! :p

I'm glad you took the time and effort to make two separate posts of no value, instead of combining them together. It's a marked improvent in your literary skills.

I also see you're not adversed to candied apples :)
