Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!

A speedometer type icon for cpu speed utility and a small square PC Engine original in white or gray would be cool.

Please can you remove a few lines of white pixels / shrink height of the Vic20 to make it more rectangular? C64 and C16 also?

I link to to the cpu_speed.gpe with my launch scripts, so I have removed the .gpe extension so it remains hidden at all times. :p

I'm afraid that the SD (Super Deformed) Vic, C16 and C64 are here to stay. I made what would be more realistic to scale icons but the keyboard lost all definition, so I settled for what you see now. The same thing is currently happening on the atarti st icon and I'm still not happy with any of the attempts at the A600 I've made although the last one is better SD variant.

I may do another PC Engine, as I forgot about squidgengine, but having said that the turbo duo that I posted does represent the fact the hu-cards and cd-rom support are covered by gp2xengine. :D

At the moment I just need to sort out the archimedes emu that I overlooked first, and look at doing a cbm 128, which I not looking forward to trying to do seeing how the atari st and amiga icons have turned out so far.

Also can anybody tell me what a cbm2 is, please?

@CABBAGES have you made a bandai playdia emulator you haven't told anybody about because last time I checked there wasn't one on the GP2X. :p

Archimedes is missing I think, but there are so many I just can't tell :)

Your right I had overlooked this emulator completely.

Is this okay?

PSX icon related, I noticed I had the perspective of the buttons wrong as they were not matching that of the cd cover I have made a small change to the icon you can get it here. It will go into the next icon pack when I have done the missing ones.

Original PC Engine core gfx.

Edit: reposted image.

@cyclops you post below is scaring me.

You are just so fast. I can't belive you can keep going for so long.

I'd like to use these on my computer, because they are so good

Watara Supervision
Fairchild-Luxor-Zircon-SABA Channel F
Intellivision
Milles-Gordon Computing Sam Coupe Disk
Oric-Atmos-Telestrat Tape-Disk
Thomson MO5
Vectrex

I'm sure you have done these
gp32
gp2X

Any chance of naming these as the computers not the emulators, as IMO they would suit the directories better.

@NeoStuey LOL sorry just ignore me. I have been overexcited by this, I love your little pixelated computers and consoles, not enough to have tatooed on my knuckles, but it does scream merch.

Edit: Neo-Geo Pocket removed *hangs head in shame*

SNK NeoGeo Pocket-NeoGeo Pocket Color

They were on the first page and are Neogeo pocket colors.

I've just noticed that it is 1x pixel column too wide. I'm not changing it! :p

Hello to the lurkers, I know your still reading this topic even if your not posting anymore. :p

Here is some more of how I spent my Sunday. :D

CD-Rom2
pce_cd-rom2.png

Why? I hear you ask.

So I could make these.

Core Gfx with cd-interface and variants.

pceinterface_grey.png

pceinterface_coregfxII.png

That's all for now, enjoy.

:D

I made a little animated .gif showing the 12 layers that I made to create the pc engine cd-rom2 icon, so if you were curious you'll know how to make one.

@daclassicgamingmaster :)

I have another icon for you,

Neo Geo CDZ

NeoCD2X, I wonder if anybody still uses it?

Vectrex

Hi cyclops I hope you don't mind the deliberate mis-quote as I have only made on of the items on your list so far.

Download the zip linked underneath.

vectrex_off_on.gif

Download here.

:D

Also I've not been happy with the a600 or atari st, I am driving myself bonkers trying to improve them. I have made some changes to the two to go in the next icon pack.

atari st (I removed some excess detailing which was just messing things up and added extra shading)
outcast_shade.png

amiga a600 sd (recolored and adjusted shading sd=super deformed as not correct ratio used)
uae4all_recolor.png

I hope they are looking better than before.

Thanks for the great PC Engine.
I dabbled with your vic and cut and pasted the top and bottom of it 2 rows of pixels down and up respectively - no rescaling just losing some white space that made it look like an amiga or something.

Here it is

supervision yeaaahhhh!

watara_supervision.png

This ones for you. :)

I ran out of space so things got a little cramped on the bottom part I hope as a Watara Supervision owner you wil find it passable.

And you might want to re-save the previous one I posted as I forgot to put the two A & B button labels on it. I know it's only two pixels but.

:D

:D

I never thought I would bookmark a thread in a forum :D , the Vectrex is very good and I love the Watara Supervision. I'm using the Icons on my computer and it makes a real difference.

I love the keys on the C64. I think its my favorite

I like your arcade cabs, but they do seem to break the pattern, when viewing your icons together, and the Amstrad CPC to a lesser extent.

I always thought MESS on the GP2X was a stupid idea, but If it happened for real it would have a belting front-end.

Its nice people are attracted to icons of consoles they loved.
