Hi!

I was wondering if theres a GP32 port of Ufo: Enemy Unknown? (or Terror from the deep) ive dreamt of a handheld version for a long time, and since i havent found one for GBA, i decided to ask around for alternative platforms ports (if there is one for gp32, id buy a unit imidietly).

Oh, and im new here :p

It'd be nice if it were possible, but unfortunately, in order to port, you need the source. X-com is commercial, so I doubt the source exists. Although its possible some people have made an interpretter for the levels which might be OS. Basically, though, it isn't going to happen unless you can find a link to something to port from.

A remake would b possible, but that'd take forever. Especially when, with snes/gen emulation slowly getting better, there's the possibility of simply playing the version from one of those systems....

Laser squad it quite a bit different to xcom.... you can also play it on the spectrum and C64 emulators!!!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly the A500 version of Xcom was quite slow so via a emulator it will be even slower. The A1200 version was ok though.

Now if the DOS emulator came out then the PC version might be a possiblity........

Adios,
Matt

Yeah, but the game isn't exactly fast paced anyway. The PC had sliders for performance (you always cranked everything up as fast as it would go once you'd seen all the walking and firing animations anyway). Were they present in the Amiga version?
