Use a client such as mIRC to connect.
It is a chatroom where all the devs hang about for chit-chat, devtalk, betas etc...

Edit: Or are you just being lazy, and want the direct link to the firmware?

Every thing's good. Thanks guys.
Just one more question before I become annoying.
What fixes does this firmware have?

I don't think there is a proper write up anywhere. ;)

I still dont understand why we cant post the site for the firmware its not like its an illegal leak.. shouldnt betas have testers?
It does have testers, just now it has slightly more intelligent testers than it would otherwise have.

Okay another reason. Craigix simply did not want to to put it up for downlaod on gp32x for some reason or other and since he was the person who was supplying it, and people did not want to stop him from doing it again or falling out with us.
Everybody else decided to keep to his wish.

The idea is that if it's kept to just a bunch of beta testers, then we solve a few problems:
1) Whines like "this new firmware broke my video player, I hate GPH"
2) Stuff like "GPH should release the source to this, now it's public"
3) Reliability of sources for bug reports.

Plus, it's what GPH wanted to do, and it's their firmware. So if you don't mind, Purist, can you get rid of the URL?

That is part of the problem. "Intelligent" users tend to know what they are doing and wouldn't do something stupid. Sometimes it the n00b user that does something "stupid" like pressing the wrong button at the wrong time for the wrong thing that causes a bug to appear. Sometimes the best beta tester would be a total noob.

Me I can wait, no big deal to me. I am still on 1.01 because the screen gamma and contrast is better. They fucked it up and made it way to bright and washed out on the newer FW.

good point.. n00bs are one of the reasons for beta testers but i think they are trying to say that was to see if the experts can handle it before the n00bs?

That sentence is quite funny.
