According the France's blog, on the int13 site, they have just recieved their devices today and they are porting like mad to get their first games out. Apparently France says that "Deluxe Arcade Pack", which includes 4 games and is currently available for pocket pc, should be available very soon as they arent having much trouble porting it over. France does mention that she is dissapointed in the joystick but likes the device overall. Anyhow I am including a couple of new pics of one of the games from the arcade pack running on the gp2x. This shoudl be rather exciting as int13 may be the ones to have the first commercial games available.

Cool, do you think they may have the diagonal line problem. As i have updated twice and still have those lines, this could be a probleme. (but DrMD has no line, so I think it'll be ok, and the pictures are "mint")

well, evryone knows that the stick is extreme shitt and destroys most fun, but i look forward to their games anyway, if resonable priced they could be a must buy.

Yea the stick sucks, i doubt they will make a great game(which is the only type of game im willing to by.)

i don't speak french but here's the link to the mentioned blog: http://www.int13.net/france/index.php/Gp2x (too bad the video links don't work)

imo the games look nice and it is great to see professional developers getting involved with the gp2x.

the current price tag of $17,95 for the arcadepack (4 games) or $6,50 to $9,95 for a single game seems pretty reasonable too.

i would buy their shooter darklaga any time. looks fantastic!

However, DaveC's cap appears to make it more OK, and using something softwarey almost makes up for the rubbish hardware... almost.

Yup, DaveCs cap seems to fix up a real lot.
I played through Turrican II on OutcaST with it (without cheating!), and that uses UP for jumping.

Impossible with the normal stick.

I would definitely buy the shooter. I might also buy that arcade pack, as the games look very well polished, which is something that most homebrew won't have. The kart racer also looks good, but I think I will wate for that nice futuristic 3d one that showed up in a video awhile ago.

About the stick:
Get davec's joystick cap, it fixes the majority of the problems. It still isn't great, but it is very playable.

There is some interesting develpment ongoing...
(I hope to see its first fruits very soon)

For the Int13 I will buy some of theirs games immediataly when they will show. Darklaga would be fantastic too and assuming it will be possible playing them all on TV set then even bettter.

i hope they get good advertising. GPH should put links to all places which sell commercial games on their website, and so should all the gp2x distributors.

yes i think having commercial games is the "line" between a pmp and a game console (who'd have guessed?). i will buy a couple of these not only because they look good but also so that i can say look at what my -console- can do. :)

So youd rather say "my gp can play these generic $10 shooters/platformers that can be outdone on neocd anyway" than "This *is* a PSPortable!" *boots up Suikoden* "oh and check this out" *boots up Metal Slug* :p

In most cases, the free homebrew devs are 10 times better than the people who want to sell us stuff.
