Picture Comparison Of Retro And Whacky Consoles.

You really _really_ don't want to know ;)

Heck, just arcade PCB's alone I've got 100 or 150 to go in a few cabs, plus another 20 or 30 MVS carts; then theres the Atari machines, and SEGA, and..

Really, I'm tempted to start giving a lot of it away.. I hope to move this year, and .. its easier to bring the stuff in, than it is to move :)

Whats really weird, is most of it is worthless in $$$ terms. And heavy.

LOL - you don't need to tell me about heavy.

All had to go up to the second floor. Heavy! And the MAME cab made one more;)

Let me try to outnerd you with consoles Here's shelf number one

wow I guess the aquarius, cd32 , and commodore stuff are on shelf 2 (or do you have a whole shelf of just commodore consoles?)

OMG! I think remo might have me outdone on consoles :) I don't even know what a Microvision is, and don't want to own a virtualboy ;) And all in boxes, too ..

I need to make a list of all that I have, but its not as variable; I've got a pile of Atari equipment, plus some good ones like a Vectrex, but most of my gear is arcade..

Alright, someone else post their pics ;)

Here is my handhelds from the other post, you can see the first gen Genesis peaking up and the 4-1 cart for my Saturn.

You haven't lived handheld gaming until you've played Microvision! B) What a strange system http://gamesmuseum.h-body.org/history/gen2...s/microvis.html

And yeah, this doesn't count my computer collection (except the Vic making an appearance there) or the handheld collection - I have more than you! :p

Hell that's not even all my consoles. Missing from that pic are the 7800, the CD32, the XEGS, the Colecovision, the Vectrex and the N64. And of course the "modern era" PS, PS2, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, 360 are not shown there as well. ;)

I should take more pictures

Wow, the Microvision seems very unique. the cartridge is essentially the front faceplate? Brilliant (or bizarre, not sure which :)

well i have to do something, my game room is going to be converted into a nursery before June, so i either have to build a room in the basement or cram everything in my 6.5' x 10' computer room.

How much of your old stuff actually works? And do you play on all the old consoles and handheld?

*g* I've been trimming and downsizing the lot quite a bit, but can't bear to break up with most of the junk :) I hope to move this year (into a bigger place..) which should afford me room to make a wetbar and gameroom .. my goal is a nice bar for parties, with a coupel good cabs and a big TV at the end; Killer Instinct maybe, and a good Dynamo JAMMA cab with my multi-JAMMA in it to support a bunch of PCBs; put a few retro consoles on the TV, qith the wires hidden so my wife doesn't dind it ugly.. that'd be good. Keep all the real nasty junk buried away... :)

For now, I havbe this enormous basement full of shit, with pcboards on everything, machiens all over, pieces of machiens everywhere.. spare Gauntlet joysticks, extra power supplies and coindoors all over.. big mess :)
