Quick Question...

there is a help section for a reason.

...which I did consider posting in but since I've had my GP2X long enough to get over most of the initial problems that new users would come across (in my opinion) and I was asking for someone to recommend a program, as opposed to, say, an explanation on how to get a game running properly I didn't feel it was worthy of that section.

Now, if you feel there's something wrong with that, please say so in a manner better than "there is a help section for a reason", because I'm not in the mood, thank you.

[EDIT] Oh, and thanks for the recommendation.

Programmer's Notepad 2 works brilliantly for me for everything. It has a selection of line endings for editing scripts plus colour-coding for when quickly editing a bit of C/C++ without opening up mem-intensive Dev-C++. It also has loads of other colour-coding options, with everything from Ada to Make. Great piece of software, 5 stars. Download it.

Editpad pro/light or programmers notepad, both are great, through i prefer editpad for editing non-code files.
