I saw that too! It would be nice if you could post some, because I want to make my own opinion. :)

I guess that the current GP32 port into the CVS archive is not working...
I had no success when trying to build it :/

Anyone know if there are a port for x86?
(I want run contiki into a small window in the X server...)

I tryed to compile the gp32 port and had a few errors as there is 1 file missing for the gp32 port and 1 or 2 have a error :(

I did contact the guy who made the port (Took me 3 hours to track down his damn email :( ) so i'll tell u what happens if i hear from him.

Sorry i havent :(

I just took out a few files that were missing to see if i could compile it but no luck there are files missing that link all the .o and .s files :(

i dont know what to do guess just wait till i get a reply from the porter if he ever does reply.

ok, ty

There is a way to make GP32 connect to the internet through Contiki (the TCP/IP stack is ready to use).
Its easy to make it by using a SLIP connection (GP32 has a serial interface, right?) and connect the GP32 first of all to a home computer (it is very easy).

But...
In the case of cellular phones, we need the protocol specification - maybe isn't too hard...

Actually i was thinking of using priotic USB libs for getting the html data through the usb cable.

So u can surf the net through usb :D be cool but i woudlnt be able to do it.

Still i think the bets way would be to use the usb libs and the new wintk interface so we have a webbrowser under a gp32 clone windows :)

its possible if we could get the gp32 port done priotic (i think i spell his name wrong) can add his usb libs and then we can use it :)

Someone found Groepaz (the port author) on the gp32dev yahoo group. Here is the question and reply from there -

sure i'll do..its planned for my next big cvs update....however it will take
some time since i am working on certain other stuff atm

WOW man :D :D that would be realy cool :D. Browsing the web with my own Gp32 it's like a dream :D. Maybe it will be even possible to view offline html files (i ues it would be pretty hard but you never no)!!!

actually, offline html browsing is easier than online. So I'd imagine that Contiki can already do offline browsing.

Actually it can't cause it was made for c64 atari etc it can't load the files from a disk etc. it was made to be simple to port so trying to access disk etc from different systems would make it harder to code.

But here is what i got from our good old friend groepaz

forget it, its broken....sourceforge was playing tricks on me when i tried to
upload the stuff :/

i'm however trying to get my stuff updated with adams latest changes atm, and
then i will send a zip with gb/gba/gp32/pce/nes all updated (and hopefully
working - as far as they have been pushed so far) to adam so he can put it on
the cvs properly....it will take some time though, so maybe check again in a
week or two or maybe some more, dunno :)

mmmh, my current version doesnt even compile and i dont think i have saved any
binaries....but apart from that, well...i can supply some once i have it
working again :) (mmmh....did we find a central place for storing all those
binaries yet? adam? :))

if you are talking about the sdk...i'm not using it at all, dunno how easy it
would be to make it work with my stuff (and i'm using gcc not sdt which might
make it even harder), but apart from that it might be doable (i am personally
going for an uart cable, if i ever find the damned connector that is :=P).

Well i am eargly awaiting the next version :) and i told him about pirotic (finallly spelled his name right yaay ^_^) usb libs so we will see if he will do that otherwise i will ask pirotic to chect it out :)
