Joystick Mods

I am seeing all these joystiq mods and i was wondering? Does the joystick just pop off or do you have to use a hack saw? :huh:

I've done the Retrocon mod, and the cap is just held on by a tight fit to the brass shaft.

It can pop off too easily actually. I managed to lose it as I was putting it into my pocket and spent a good part of an hour looking all around the whole house for it.

Is this before or after you have modded it. Because now im starting to think pulling it off may looson its grip?

Btw, sorry for being such a worrywort but i dont want to hurt my little 2x.

I havent modded it all. Its just that the outside material of my pocket had snagged underneith the joystick and pulled it off as i pushed it into my pocket.

It'll "twist" off easily. I did a joystick mod in the first 30 minutes I owned a GP2X
