Little Gp2x Vid

Someone should come up with some sort of screen capture program. That was really blury.

Why is the quality of the LCD screen in question?

boot time tends to vary between somewhat slow 15 seconds and absolute hang which never finishes. It's not uncommon for me to have to attempt a couple boots.

I've never had that problem. It takes a bit to load but has never hung on me. * Wolfspirit looks around for some wood to knock on before it's to late. *

If the GP2X hangs up (which sadly happens quite a lot with the unfinished Ur-Quan Masters port) and you turn it back on right away, there is a high probability that it doesn't boot up completely and you have to reboot again.
But if you wait a few seconds before turning it on everything is fine.

During normal use it boots up flawlessly (almost) every time.

No... it's not that bad.

I'm sometimes getting the freeze at booting too but no 3 times after one and another.

took 26 seconds to boot from on to menu on that video

is it really that blurry?
sorry though, best my digicam can do

if u use lcd tweaker, and you get some reading glasses and laser eye treatment you can make out the sharpness no problem!

Nah, seriously, i put on a 600mb ninja turtles 1 film on yesterday.. i didnt think that it would work..

Before i did that tho, i updated the firmware. I got the firmware updater thing, which pretty much did it all for me. And followed its instructions. then i proceeded to download the lcd tweaker, an ESSENTIAL piece of app!

A piece of app i say!

What a load of app!

It smell like APP!

Anyway.. if u tweak the screen, it stops the hazyness (which the camera used to shot this with kind of got from the screen, but now due to the transfer and conversion.. those lines look hazy and awful.) the haziness is tiny, use the lcd tweaker for perfect picture!

Ninja turtles was a 600mb film, perfect sound, resolution and framerate. no hangs or anything and ffwd and rwnd function is a doddle!

Im so happy!
