hey there i'm new to all this stuff.. i just ordered my own gp32 *yay*
now i want to know whats working fine at the moment.

nes roms are working right? thats the most important thing .. and second is superNES roms .. i guess there are still some problems to fix right?

thats all i want to do with my gp32, play nes and super nes games.

so how does this stuff work? like on the pc: download emulator and roms and then just play? is there a big difference with emulators for the pc and the emulators for my gp32? i hope not.

sorry for my bad english :p ciao

Yup, you just send the emulator - a GP32 version, not a PC version - and roms to your GP32. The emulators are usually ported from PC versions so they run the same games.

There are three NES emus and they all run very well with high compatibility, ZIP file loading, etc.

There are two SNES emus but one has been abandoned. SnesEMu runs games with no sound or savegame support, but fast. Snes9xGP is a port of Snes9x with saves and sound. It used to be extremely slow but speed has improved, and will keep improving. However the next version to come out will be the last (hopefully Intelecto will release the source at this point).

This won't mean anything to you yet but when you register your GP32 you'll understand. Put all your SNES roms in the GPMM folder, cos thats where snes9xgp checks for your roms.

ay thx for the reply :) this forum really is cool

so i can play my nes games and snes games yay great. i want my gp32 arf .. now

*happy* :D

@Vollgasasi: Lustiger Nick... und auch von mir ein herzliches Willkommen! Du solltest auf jeden Fall auch caSTaway, den Atari ST-Emu ausprobieren. Und GPengine ist eh genial!
