Here is v0.3 of GPChess :)
This is what I have done to it:

-2 piece sets and one board, switchable (more will be in later versions)
-Fixed a bug that you have to block a check, you can't escape from it
-Added menus so loading/saving/newgaming is easier
-Added level select (1-4 previous version's level was the same as this one's 4)
-Added more bugs (I don't know of any, but I prolly did)

DL Here

are the pieces in piece set 1, 2, or both hart to tell apart? 1 won't be so easy to change, but 2 would be very easy. The move showing thing is a good idea, I'll add it in 0.4 :)

EDIT: What happened to the inside of your post?

Well at first the pieces were too hard to tell apart from each other, but I accidentally pushed L in game, and found out that it switches the graphics. I guess I should have read the readme. :p But yeah, it would be easier to tell where the computer moves, if the pieces slide.

Yeah, sliding pieces would be cool. Or perhaps they should grow legs and walk :p
Piece sliding would be too hard :( Since I am bad at prging the GFX (you see already w/ almost no motion on bord, there is LOTS of flicker) there is no way I'm going to do sliding pieces w/o flickering so bad it messes up your brain (well, mabye that is and idea, so it always wins :p) I'm thinking about a square around the piece moved, and the place it moved from.

I'm still willing to give you a hand in the graphics programming department. We should at least be able to clean up the flickering, if nothing else. :)
