I can see the IP addresses, and indeed you are not sam fisher. As for your name... I found some crummy forums where you and daclassicgamingmaster have collectively written 1/3 of all the posts, and that's about it.

lol well you are right rico, cept most of my posts are only there for flaming other users. Well, psymastr knows, as he banned me for about a month. not a smart move.

As for this user, he's a bit of an asshole, but thats no reason to flame the hell out of him. Im calling him an asshole for saying you need a phd to work the 2x. Other than that, he may just have a faulty unit. oh well, now he's gone :(

No he's not, he keeps posting in the help forums.

I'll admit the GP2X isn't a plug-and-play unit like the DS or PSP, but it's really not that difficult. Just stick with it and you'll be playing portable Neo Geo in no time :D

I agree, and he knew that well before he received his unit. No reason to bitch unless he has a faulty unit

The learning curve is similar to the GP32, anyone remember having to reformat your SMC to FAT12/16 and add special folders and firmware before it would work? And the free launcher/ ID caused thousands of problems.

Damn right... I had to go thru the freelauncher crap with the FLU I bought kind of recently. I accidentally flashed to the old Korean firmware instead of the Euro firmware(it had some other firmware... I think mr. spiv's or slubman's or something, I forget. I just remember that I didn't like it)... it took me all night to get that shit sorted out.

Well, true. But if he ordered from GBAX, i got a nice thing explaining its in DEVELOPMENT stages, and there are numerous problems, and its not simply push, done easy.

Hell....Compare to that the GP2X is WAY easier. Now that I thought about it, all it really is is drag and drop (well for Windows)

Eh, I guess I went overboard. Games are workin now, I got the new 1.0.1 firmware (hell, I didnt notice, but I think it came pre-updated out of the box)

Sorry for being an asshat.

Im having more fun with the system.....I just wish in the next firmware it loads linux a bit faster.
