Hey!

Just bought GP Cinema. I have never coded a film before. I have viewed the Waystation guide and do not have DIVx appearing in my VirtualDub. The films that I have are .AVI. Please help!!

I've got it working now. However, I do not know where to put the movie files??

I have downloaded Harry potter. AVI. However, I cannot get it to play. This is what it says:

57 kbit/sec

320x240
13frame
1kbit/sec

24000Hz stereo
56kbit/sec

Please help!!!

When I compress the file, I can watch the movie. However, I cannot watch it on the GP32.

Hi,

Correct me if i am wrong, But you seem to have encoded with 2 pass VBR.
The problem is you need to change the encoding settings to 1-pass (See you quote for info).
In VD go to the "video" menu and select "compression". Select "divx 4.12" in the left box,
Then click "configure" on the right hand side.
In the top part of the new window select "1-pass" in the "variable bit rate" box.

You should be good to go. :)

Edit: You should try lowering the audio quality a bit to, Try 11025hz 16 bit stereo 18kbit/sec to see how you get on.

Yes, I do have GP Cinema. Trooper, you are right- my setting was 2 not 1. Also, what should my screen size and frame rate be?

320x240 or 320x176 (for wide screen)

In VD desimate by 2 (12-15 FPS)
