On yahoo theres a trial game called lemonade tycoon (full version on kazza ;) )

its pretty good, and i think its pretty simple, maybe someone could clone it, as its quite fun, its on palm and pocket pc currently, so a clone would be funny.

Yes, played that game (kazaa ;) ) that would make a great port, it's ok on PC, but better suited for a handheld, i'd do it myself, but (excuse) can't code :p would like to see this happen..

I bought this for my Clie a while back.

Something similar on the GP32 would be cool.

There are some similar games that use SDL so there may be porting options for those games.

Something more exciting, like Street corner dope seller would be good.

YOU WAREZERS!!!! Kazaa is junk now... Flooded with bullshit apps and games, and most of it is porn anyway. Now rollercoaster tycoon would be fun on gp32. Any other tycoon games can bite the dust for all I care. No I dont like dope wars either....

I second the vote for Dope Wars. I have spent many an hour playing that game

Uh-oh, I just got an idea. I figure I could probably make a text RPG, like the ones they have/used to have on BBS's (i.e. MajorMUD if anybody knows of it, kind of doubt it). I just need to figure out formulas and maps and monsters and.... well, everything. If somebody wants to help me in one of those areas, feel free to leave me a message. And if someone here knows timing code, I could use that kind of help also.

I just tryed dopewars on the gp32 using java and it dosent work after reading the java machine its not a java emu well it is but it uses its own set of inscructions like java so u would have to change a few arguments etc in the java program b4 it work son the gp32.

I remember playing a very simple came called Lemonade Stand on my Apple IIc. Basically you tell the computer how much sugar to buy, how many lemons, how many advertising flyers you want to give out, and how much to charge per glass. The computer tells you how many glasses you sold and how much money you made/lost.

Is this game along the same lines?

@Nssone: I figured there must be dozens of opensource MUD type games floating around, so I went looking for one. I found several, but then I realized that they all rely heavily on keybord input. Perhaps you're better off starting one from scratch that uses the controls available?

Try Kingdom 2... if anyone wants the exe I'll send it to them, since its a VERY old and virtually unheard of undocumented game. Kind of sounds Lemonade or drugwars style, from memory.

Soooo fun though :) (ASCII)
