Hi All,

Not sure if you guys knew yet... But the Supercard (Compact flash reader) for the GBA/DS that plays GBA roms has a new Firmware that allows you to play backed up NDS games on your DS, you need also a Passme or to have flashed your DS firmware.

I have had my supercard a while now for GBA roms, there was some slowdown on some ones but compatibility has got a lot better now.

The DS roms however run at full speed!

You can get a Supercard for about £15 and a superpass passme card for £15 so in terms of price its a great bit of kit!

Fitzie...

thanks for the tip off, dyou know if the SD supercard version works too? I think they make one right? Also, where are you quoting those prices from? If you cant say on the forum cos of rules, please pm me!

He he, its a small world Shadow, yes I do remember you... We still have the server and are getting a new one soon, drop by if you still have the game :)

As for the SD supercard, yes they do one and yes it works also with the new firmware. I know a chap in the UK who is selling them, I think it was about £20 for the Supercard and £15 for the Superpass Passme.

Not all the DS Games work yet, splinter cell is the main one because its 512mb and the Supercard only has 256mb ram. However the guy who makes the supercard is working on a way to load a bit at a time, as the DS just loads the info it needs from the card and not the whole game like a GBA, thats why the DS games all run at full speed...

He dosnt charge postage to the UK so thats all all you pay.

If anyone interested post here and i'll put you in touch... In fact I should start selling these myself LOL

I was a tad wrong on the prices:

CF Supercard - £27 each

SD Supercard - £30 each

Superpass (Passme) device for your NDS - £14 each

I picked up my Supercard this morning, ordered it from the guy fitzsteve suggested. Works great with flashme. I'm a happy customer.

So you guys have actually played a backed up NDS game on one of these? And it's great? I am trying to decide what to get to play backups but i am still not sure what the best bet is. Ive been looking at the M3 but i dont think its been released yet. Im in the US so i dont htink i can go to the guy you were mentioning. ANyway, any help is appreciated

The M3 has been out for a while now. I'd like to get one but it's just too expensive for me. I'll probably just get the cheapest good flash cart I can find and passkey.

Might be inclined to sell my Supercard (CF version) along with a 256mb CF card (full of games) so if any of you are interested, let me know.

Offers around £50.

Anyone know a good place to get an m3 in the states? So has anyone actually played an NDS back up with one of these yet?

I've never used one of these things. What's the procedure with roms on them (particularly GBA)? You just put the one you want on it and it loads it at startup? Can you have a bunch on one CF or SD card and load them from a menu?

Sorry if these seem like stupid questions. Just curious.
