Holy Shit! Godspeed!

Audiogalaxy ruled! It was the best MP3 sharing tool I have ever used! I wish, it would still be usable... :(

there was something uniquely top notch about it.

i think the space for discussion for each and any artist plus the actually relevant "people who liked this also liked..." links made for far more than just somewhere to steal music.

skysnapper can you give me a link or something, when i check on the site for it, it shows me the 4 mb broadband for £19.50? iv checked and i think they do do it my area...

I have broadband that's supposed to go 8mbs a sec but usually only goes one or two ;)
You're paying for 8 megaBITs a second, so you should get 1 megaBYTE of speed - so one or two is pretty good :)

The artist discussion in hip-hop was hilarious flamewars, I swear, every single artist had a '2Pac vs. this artist' thread or something equally asinine. I loved the groups feature where you signed up and basically had albums automatically sent to you, and it was also a great source of renamed porn with an mp3 added to the end. I kind of miss AG :(

ah the good ole days of extension renaming

i remember the first time i renamed a file as a .zip to unlock its wonderous power!
Haha, that sounds quality.

If I recall corrected AG enforced the music-only rule by checking extensions, yet remained seemingly oblivious to the 100+ MB mp3s being sent around :)
