Hi

I have been playing the pinball dreams demo and its just amazing basically. I loved all of the pinball series on my Amiga. I have searched through here and cant find any threads about where to download/buy it from. I went to logikstate's home page but nothing on there I could see unless im being blind. I tried www.gp32.com which I saw mentioned somewhere but that didnt work, is there still a place to download the few commercail games that were made?

cheers

Darren

I did not see it listed on their website but check out Shibuya's is a fresh website that sells GP32 games etc. This is the only place that I am aware of were you can puchase Gp32 games. It would be great if a download vendor would come back in business such as JoyGP...

you can get it off of the gamepark website here

I *think* I recall people saying that they had difficulty, however, but I could just be talking ot of my ass.

edit: @ shinneri- okay, good :D

Yep, you are. ;)

Yeah, I ordered it off of Gamepark's site. Very simple to do, and it's a great game. :)

EDIT: You have to register and then register your GP32's ID with the 'Authentication ID Registration Wizard' on this page: http://www.gamepark.com/eng/support/support.asp

ah cool thanks, $7 is nothing and will do it when I get home tonight. Does it run as a program with Slubman bios, .fbe? Forget what the extensions are now! Or does it require a smc of its own?

lol I was just taking a look through that website at what other games are available. I really like the opening bit of the description for Raphael

" This game is not what you think. Underneath the mediocre graphics and barely existent story, there’s a classic game just begging to be played"

Best marketing ever! :D

Bit off topic now but the english translation on gameparks website is cracking me up

MP3 Player - Is the GP32 MP3 Player?

GP32 bear comparison with MP3 Player. As you see viewer by MP3 Player use of Application , you can use the function of Play/Halt, Pause, Repeat select, Hold select, former music, next music. You do good for English education.

You do good for English education? Yes you could do with some of that lol

When I got by GP32 off Ebay it dind't come wiht the USB cable so I use a SMC reader to copy games to it. Do I need to buy the USB cable or can I just copy the program to my SMC and run it?

Hmm problem is im using Slubman firmware. When i plug the gp32 into my pc and select pc link mode it comes up with a removeable disk in XP which is fine but then in the gamepark program when I click Submit, it says connect gp32 and put into pc link mode but then it cannot find it. I guess because im not using the gamepark usb software? hmm. Going on holiday in 12 hours and wanted to take pinball dreams with me :(

Try running a .bin of an original Gamepark Firmware. You will find those here.
The firmware binaries will be run directly using Slubman's firmware.
Also, download a plugin (LaunchGXE) to run commercial games using Slubman's firmware here.

With the original .bin firmware running you will (hopefully) be able to register. You may have to install the original GP32 windows driver also. After having Pinball Dreams installed you will be able to run it either running the original firmware first, then the game or directly through the plugin, which will show you commercial game as another icon.

ok managed to get it registered thanks, i downloaded the slubman plug in and put in \gpmm and \gpsys\plugins

I have copied the pinball dreams file which is pdgame.zpk tp \gpmm but no icon, if i go into Explorer in slubman and click on it, nothing either, any suggestions?

Note: I dont have a seperate smc for this so when I run the gamepark fw from the .bin file it does nothing as it doesnt find a game smc I guess

ah no worries, using the wonderful search on here i found gp32 package extractor which i used on my pinball dreams file and now i have an icon and it works within slubman

many thanks

hi yer I deleted it from there as I got no icon either way until I unpacked it. Just had a quick go and its good, brings back the Amiga days memories :) Although im sure in the amiga one you only got 3 balls, you seem to get 6 in this
